Buggers and Sons

I've been tying up some woolly buggers for the fall to keep my mind off of the departure of our son. Shortly after turning 18, he headed off to the United Air Force Academy to learn and serve. It's been his dream since he was knee-high to be an Air Force pilot and he's now one-step closer to achieving that goal. We said goodbye with much pride and a great deal of sadness. The Lord couldn't have granted us a more faithful, honest, fun-loving son. His absence fills our house. So it is off to the tying table to prepare a few of his favorite flies and think about the days past and the amazing adventures he has ahead. God Bless Rainbow Boy.
