President Obama's visit to the Yellowstone area included a stop in the Gallatin River to try out fly fishing for the first time. The guide, Dan Vermillion, did a great interview with Outside Online after the thrill of a lifetime. My favorite line was: Obama "fished two-and-half hours in weather that would have sent most of us to the bar."
All of us fly fishing addicts have done the same at one point in our lives, but not many have done it the first time on the water. It shows me Obama is one hooked fly fisherman. Welcome to the fraternity Mr. President.
